I've included a Valentine's Day menu this week if you're planning to cook at home! The strawberry cupcakes are amazing and loved by all! You'll notice several new recipes and a spin on a favorite repeat - the smash burger! I love cooking our "splurge" meals at home so that we can use better ingredients and cooking oils - so much of what we eat {in terms of whole foods} is not the food itself but how it was grown, raised, sourced and how it's cooked. Choosing grass-fed, no artificial additives, and zero pesticides for our meats and veggies makes a big difference in how those foods will affect our bodies. Also choosing to cook with oils that do not oxidize {ie, inflammation!} when heated is just another way to practice mindful eating.
